Lovers of love serving the East Coast

For a person like me, photographing weddings has such an appeal because of all of the love involved. From the time I was just a kid, I was super sentimental and had a great respect for people who were not afraid to display affection and love. Although that isn't why I got into wedding photography, it is definitely the thing that clicked in me when I realized that this was what I was supposed to be doing. I'm a hopeless romantic and I just want to help others celebrate the most romantic time in their life. This usually turns our clients into family...but sometimes, our clients actually are family! Case in point - my cousin Alyssa. I can remember meeting her when she was just a teeny baby. I remember playing hide and go seek, cheerleader, and running around outside with her. I remember hating how little time I felt we got to spend together as kids, especially as teens. Thankfully, we live in the era of social media and can stay in contact all the time! It has been so special watching her babies turn into toddlers through Facebook, and it was an honor to get the message asking me to photograph her wedding! Nothing was stopping me from getting to that special day, and I will forever be grateful for the time we got to spend together on that beautiful day.

When it was time for the ceremony, Alyssa's grandfather was there and ready to make the union official in the eyes of the law and the eyes of the Lord.

Cocktail hour was such a great time! We had a blast photographing and mingling with family. Do the folks behind the bar look familiar? Yep! It’s my cousin Tina, sister to the bride, and her boyfriend Sam. They graciously filled in for the bartender who suddenly couldn’t make it. Talk about going with the flow, Alyssa handled the hiccup like a champ!

We are so glad they let us steal them away from their party for a few minutes. Just look at those beauties in that yummy warm light!
